Maybe it just needs a new plug and a good banging all the way through power band. I definitely don't think there's anything mechanically wrong with this Pilot, I'm not saying that at all. Honestly it looks mint. 2-strokes just need to be revved all the way up to \"clean\" them out. Babying them and keeping the rev's low actually hampers the engine rather than helping it. I'd pop a new plug in there (after cycling the engine a couple times with the spark killed), find someplace long enough to open it and gun it. You may just find out you have a whole different little animal sitting behind you. If that doesn't work, check jets for altitude and air temp adjustements and go from there. Either way this thing is in amazing shape and someone or their kid is going to get one hell of a fun little toy at the end of this one.
