I have honestly answered them below. NONE of these issues exist with my Esprit. However, please don't take one of my common responses the wrong way: If something is a worry to you, factor it into your bid and budget. It's really just the simplest answer, but does not mean there is a problem. \n\nThis is probably one of the best Esprit V8s left with few owners, records, and reasonable, just-enough miles that kept the fluids flowing so that car works perfectly. It looks great too, and I would not hesitate to drive it across country tomorrow. The pic in front of the old bus was on a trip from CT to Boston a few weeks ago. 600 miles that weekend. The bus was in front of the hotel and the valet (asked me to) park the Esprit in front too.\n\n@pblake123\nWhile that is true, this Esprit does NOT have any issues. It was not tracked. It was loved, as you can see by the virtually unworn interior, exterior and underside. The records show many oil changes. Many. Please, please watch the videos too. Listen to the engine. Watch the way the car runs and drives. Look at the records. It was overly maintained, and runs as new; from a perfect idle, on through major, even thrust at all RPMs.\n\n@myboynacho\nAll 4 corners had their brake pads changed in Feb 2018 and 34k miles. The rotors were not replaced. Nor was that needed. I do not have a record for the tire install. The tires are fine, sticky, and *not* dry rotted. However, for the sake of the unknown, perhaps it is best to assume the car will need tires if you are concerned. I just don't know when they were put on. The shine on the car is wonderful. There are no squeaks or rattles. Just the smell of leather. And thrust. And a decent sound system. The V8 symphony just behind you. There is nothing in the interior that is loose. There are no exterior smells at idle, and the car has cats so no smelly exhaust, and no leaks, so there are no exterior smells. Park it in the garage after a nice drive and you will smell..... nothing. There is a 17 minute drive video. There is a cold start video. There is a walk around video. The brake pedal is firm as a rock and the brakes stop evenly and hard.... watch me haul the car from about 95 down to 55 when getting on the highway. No pull. no drama. The steering is simply amazing. There are over 200 pictures I have provided top to bottom, left to right. It's a wonderful Esprit. Dare I say exemplary. \n\n@cheshyrkat\nThe intermediate shaft pulley was not keyed while the engine was out. Often done for cars that are raced, that was not necessary or suggested (I am retrospectively told) as I do not race the car. If you feel it necessary, drop the engine and do it. I had to make darn sure I was all the way into second before letting the clutch off the floor a millimeter. At 6'3\" and with 10.5 narrow shoe I had no trouble reaching and working the pedals. So I know how Richard Gere feels. With the Esprit, mind you, not anything else. The rest of the rowing was much more instinctive and fun. I like though that the car has its idiosyncrasies that you have learn and get to know to become one with the car and that it doesn't drive itself. Car was presented well. I hold no grudges againest the prior owner either. Some other fun facts, the EVAP system was completely Non-functional, and half the hoses were completely missing. The Coolant overflow bottle was completely missing, and during the first six days of driving the car it would spit coolant here or there. The prior owner tried to help me with that one, but it wasn't until an unhealthy amount of time was spent learning lotus parts diagrams did I notice a complete system of the cooling system just wasn't even there. But upon rebuild I took care of these issues, and many, many others.
