That changed completely after Ford bought Jaguar. This virtually all-aluminum beauty was mostly built by industrial robots, which greatly improved quality control. \n\nI noted that this XKR has Adaptive Cruise Control, a rare option, as shown by the two rotary controls on the right side of the steering wheel.\n\nOverall, this car appears to be very well cared for, very original and unmolested. It is in remarkable condition, inside and outside, from top to bottom, as the Seller obviously spent a lot of time detailing it.\n\nBeing 18 years old means that time takes its toll on rubber parts, leather, and the convertible top. I mention this because I couldn\u2019t tell from the photos as I\u2019m doing this on my cellphone. Pulling of the leather on the dashboard is common, as is separation of the rear window from the convertible top, and the A/C condensate drain hose (\u201cduckbill) closing up.
