Unless it is a CSI, the V12 just scares me off. The only word of caution would be to see if this has its original nikasil block. This would have been at the tail end of production on the M60, and by 2000 the high sulfur fuel had been banned by the EPA - since it has made it this far, subsequent nikasil damage seems unlikely, but I'd be curious if this is in fact the original short block. The seller could identify whether it is a Nikasil or Alusil block by looking under the front right of the engine near the coolant drain plug for the casting number:\n\nNikasil M60B40 1 725 963 or 1 742 998\nAlusil M60B40 1 745 872\n\nThe old recommendation for a vehicle with a Nikasil block was to look for a leakdown test showing better than 15% - which is probably good advice anyway. The best bet is to switch to 18 inch M Par wheels and ditch the OE 16 inch rims.
