Unfortunately, my emotions got in the way and I could not come to terms as I sat and watched the hard work and dedication that has gone into this wicked car.\r\nIt may sound cliche, but I am in my early 40\u2019s with two little ones and a new home for the family. The cost to live in CA, plus daycare for two, is basically having two mortgages. \r\nOne, if not both my kids will definitely give me a tough time once they are older, knowing that this was in their garage several years back. I will let them know that I did it for them. \r\n\r\nIt has been tough, chewing this up, as never intended to sell my car, but life happens, and the circumstances have changed.\r\n\r\nThe great news is that some lucky bidder will get to enjoy this beautiful beast and create new memories.\r\n\r\nThis car is a blast to drive and a true street warrior/bruiser. Raw power and plenty of torque to snap your neck, but a combination of a balanced suspension gives it some tight and respectable street manners. The hood is a 4\u201d steel cowl. \r\nI do have a 3\u201d fiberglass hood as well that is paint matched to the car but would require the gas struts in the Ring Brothers Billet Hood hinges to be replaced for fiberglass hood. I don\u2019t have those gas struts but they can be purchased through Ring Brothers or Summit Racing. I also have an SS style hood that is not paint matched. I\u2019m happy to include the other hoods as well with the sale if the buyer wants them. There is a little difference within both hoods. I originally bought the 3\u201d fiberglass hood and got a bit impatient because it was taking forever to ship and I was getting ready to paint the car. I ended up ordering the 4 inch steel because it would arrive sooner and ended up with both around the same time and painted them both! You do have to have different springs on hood hinges for the fiberglass and when I ordered the Ringbrothers billet hood hinges, I ordered them with the gas struts for the steel hood. I never got around to ordering the gas struts for the fiberglass hood but they are about $100 on their website. \r\nDriving with the current hood doesn\u2019t bother me and I can see around, but I speak for myself. If it bothers someone else, they can swap out to a different hood. I do have that paint matched 3\u201d fiberglass hood available, along with an SS style hood with no cowl but is. It paint matched, that I\u2019m willing to include as I mentioned in the previous comment, but buyer would have to purchase the gas struts for that hood. If buyer decides to go with original 2 1/4 \u201c hood, then that\u2019s their choice.
