If the problem is wobble, usually it's the wire wheels, needing truing and balancing. Not all shops have the proper fixture to balance wire wheels as it requires a specific cone for the inside, and a special cap over the outer hub to center the wheel as it is centered on the car, and on the balancing machine. The end result of a poor balance job, or wheels that need to be trued is a wobble that often leads to a steering damper, which usually doesn't help much. \r\n\r\nThe blades work well on my +8 with the same front end, but magnesium wheels that are true, and properly balanced. \r\n\r\nThe Konis can be easily adjusted to take up any wear. However, they look pretty clean and probably don't have many miles on them. \r\n\r\nPictures of the rear suspension and axle would be useful. Take up the cover behind the seats. \r\n\r\nYou can show how well the charge system is working by turning on the lights while driving. The ammeter will show a drop followed by a charge indication, showing that the system is picking u the load. You can also check the voltage at the battery to see if the system is picking up the load. \r\n\r\nThere really is no problem with Lucas electrics other than bad connections on older cars, and old components. Your ammeter should be showing slightly above \"0\", or higher, depending on the load. If it drops below \"0\" if you have the lights on and revving above 2000 RPM, you might have a tired generator. \r\n\r\nOther than the damper and the hole in the bonnet, it is a pretty nice Morgan. It even has its original steering wheel. I like the car as she is except for a couple things. I would make sure the rubber base for the front fender mounted lights were in good condition to reduce chafing. Easily source component from one on the Morgan parts suppliers. In lieu of the hole in the hood for the carb stack I would at a super sport scoop an add a second velocity stack or air filters. Morgans are the most fun you can have driving. Fast, handle well and look great. The damper does that but it doesn't \"fix\" the source of the problem. The blades are held to the chassis by a simple metal \"sandwich\" which lets them slide in and out as the hub goes up and down. There are two small triangular shims in this sandwich which restrict forward and backward movement of the inside end of the blade. These (and the inside edge of the blade) wear with time and allow the blade to rotate with the wheel rather than creating friction to restrict that motion (wobble). The fix for this is to loosen the the bolts holding this sandwich to the chassis and, using and screwdriver blade, tap those shims back against the edges of the blade before retightening.\r\nThe second source of wobble is insufficient Caster Angle. The bottom front cross member can be bent backwards over time from hitting pot holes etc. The king pin wants to be slightly tilted backwards at the top. If it isn't you will experience the famous Morgan \"death wobble\".
