Yes the headrest is higher than stock seats, but it's not crazy high like some aftermarket seats and with the roll bar it's an even more subtle look. I've done all the same engine mods and it just makes it a more reliable engine. I do have a bit of an issue with the roll bar being only bolted in. I had one custom made which is welded to the frame which will be a lot more effective. Along with the Miata seats I got out of a donor car at a Pick n Pull, I snagged and installed the retractable lap/shoulder belts which makes my wife feel safer, and again for some spirited driving and autocross, it helps hold me in place. It leaks from the bottom of the cover where is meets the case. I should have used black silicone and didn't. The tail shaft, I'm not sure. I've had the HVDA adapter flange off several times and don't see a problem with the seal or the sealing surface. I bought a seal 1mm smaller in inside diameter, but haven't had time to install it. Just a little leary of going smaller for fear of wearing the sealing surface. The Toyota tranny does install at a bit of an angle with tailshaft lower. The exhaust is also an unknown for me. Because of the HVDA and Toyota install the hangers don't install in the stock locations. I've fabricated three different arrangements and improved it considerably. May be an Abarth thing, but all hangers are new and tight. The vibration lessens as the car warms. I'm not going to have time for a new video as I'm in the process of moving after 44 years on 33 acres. I have the same 5 speed conversion in my car. My engine was rebuilt and the 5 speed was put in by Joe Siam who owns Chequered Flag Racing in Chatsworth and Acton, CA. He has two shops. He is the man in Southern California that knows everything to know about Triumphs and MG's. That is all he works on. He has rebuilt most of the Triumphs in the local Southern California Triumph Club.
