The bikes description/bio is accurate. The 21 miles was on the (Don Fulsang) rebuilt gauges when we got it. The collectors direction was that he wanted the bike returned static (no fuel) for his office. The entire bike was taken down and meticulously restored ground up / no expense spared. The oil injection pump was tested and the lines have been bled. The crankcase has been filled as have the forks and all verified no leaks. The chain oiler was tested but not filled on the bike. The electrical was tested & given a go. Fine tuning the carb idle, air mixture and some minor break in clutch adjustment would be in accord as is with any complete build. Didn't help much that I had a quarter mile marked off near out house and the neighbors were growing concerned about the 100+ mph passes. \nSomehow over the next year and a half I managed close to 18000 unscathed miles. Luckily I had lots of downhill skiing experience so that tweaky powerband that felt like a T bar on steriods never pulled my arms out of their sockets. I lived through my first year of college but with a girlfriend over 300 miles away, I longed for a four stroke,like a CB 750 for the long rides. Carpal tunnel would make my hands go numb and the rearview was useless. I finally had my \"'accident\" as a driver pulled directly in front of me while I was going about 30mph. Somersaulting over the car and landing on my feet I felt lucky until I saw the mangled forks on the bike. My parents now had leverage and insisted the bike had to go.
