I hear if you accelerate incorrectly in first gear it can happen. This car hugs the road and is a blast to drive. One of the reasons I searched for it in 1996 was because I rented one on a trip to Italy and drove it from Venice to Rome. It was so much fun to drive around the curves of the countryside and speeding along the Autostrada that when I returned home, I had to get one. I searched high and low in all the western states for someone who had a \u201895 and wanted to sell it. I called all the dealerships and found a customer in Scottsdale who wanted to trade in his 95 with 16,000 miles on it.
