I\u2019ve owned three defenders and I\u2019m always looking for the sweet spot. The new galvanized chassis is phenomenal as is the body and paint. I\u2019d ditch the steering wheel. Seems out of place. I prefer a thick rim of the 80s Range Rovers. The AC is all there but I did not try and use it. I didn\u2019t care for digital display of the gear selector but maybe that\u2019s necessary with the 6 speed auto. It has lots of power and the brakes are good without being like a hot rod with a lumpy cam etc. I can\u2019t imagine the cost to build to this spec. The steering seems right and responsive unlike so many of these restomod defenders. Ticks so many boxes.
