Expect things to need doing even if it cosmetically looks virgin. 20k miles is used, 30k miles is well used, and above, like this girl, means someone has actually driven and enjoyed the car!! My V12 only had 11k miles when I bought it. The more I drive it, the better it gets. Many folks say the V12s aren't broken in until 20k. Most Fcars avg <1000 miles per year. It's probably not ideal. But it keeps up the resale. Almost no one knows what happens above 100k miles and for sure, your question of "is the fun gone" by 250k miles is one of life's mysteries. I fix cars and trucks for a living. The inoperative mirror and slow R. window are probably due to wires flexing and breaking at the bulkhead connector in front of the L. door. I came up with a way to make them slide in the boot without much flexing. Digi-Key has the female connectors. It is a VERY tedious repair. I also turned my window motors into a wet-sump affair with synthetic grease and gear oil right away. Same with the ball-bearing tracks. The A/C system has 2 distinct problems. One is high amp draw thru a fuse located under the frunk insert and a control head issue. I installed a Circuit breaker in place of the fuse and extended the wires to the access door above the receiver/drier so I can see if the wires are getting warm. No issues since. And the control head problem is #1pin marrone colored wire female contact issue. It's the 12v feed for the Head itself. Very tricky to fix that one. I'm the only one on F-chat that figured that one out. A/C compressor front seals leak. Take it apart and re-seal it with a kit you can buy online. Also, to fill the system, you are supposed to remove the frunk insert to access the fill ports. I made and access window when I reinforced the frunk material. (you can't lean on the frunk without crushing it. it appears to be made out of sawdust and plastic resin) But under the dash, on the bulkhead above the pedal box is a plate on the bulkhead. Remove it and you can just access the fill ports if you stand on your head. haha. And yes, change the steering wheel. The wheel was too slippery for me with no power assist. No Airbag, so ALL those MOMO's will bolt right on. And I found a NOS horn button for 70 bones. I also took out the Fabspeed Cats and installed Fabspeed tubes. These Spyders have different mufflers than earlier models. With the tubes, the sound came alive. No kidding. Just some things I went thru that no one ever mentions. And mine just turned 43561 yesterday FWIW. So far, so good. It's the best Go-kart I've ever owned!
