Like my vert I ran it with no hood springs and the hood settled down FLAT. Header lined up good. The deck lid IIRC had some big gaps from the lid to the filler panel. I have been told repo fglass is off and especially the header to hood but that was many years ago. Maybe the newer stuff is better? Door crest lines we couldn't get to line up but the side scoops took the attention. Tops of the aprons(well we can see the pass side somewhat good) and floor pans. To my eyes this seems like a really solid California car. Of course the car could have had accidents that warranted replacement of sheet metal or fiberglass in it's life. So serious bidders should ask for pics(date codes) of many areas of this car to confirm if they want to make an educated guess to the originality of metal and fiberglass. To me I'd own this car in a heartbeat. Some get lucky with better fiberglass than others. My 70 Shelby the original hood is as close to perfect matching my original fenders as you can get but other panels we definitely tweaked like narrowing the decklid . When I put the hood and header panel on my 68 after I bought it I couldn't believe how good it fit. A slight bow in the center of the hood-until I took off the hood springs that dropped the back of the hood and removed the bow. Another pic to show. We were at an event last night at Greenfield Village and my oldest son mentioned how he missed our 68. We had it there a few years for a car show and like our 70 drove it around the village as much as possible.
