And the drivers side seat belt trim panel, has a small tan tab / tongue that was repaired and colorized (on most 348\u2019s today this tab piece is missing from the drivers side). Both details were small repairs. I can be a bit anal about things, but enjoy restoring and improving details where I can. The seating surfaces, dash and door panels are near mint and appear original and soft. Dash trim sticky parts were sublet by Ferrari of San Francisco for repair in 2011 - and are still perfect (a copy of the repair order is in gallery). The rears are 18 x 10 with a 2 1/2 inch lip, tires are 285/35ZR /18 - Pirelli P Zero rubber. I do not recall the offsets, and there are no spacers on the rear. Back in the 1990s this was a common enough wheel option on 348s ...and 355s to register in my mind 25 years later as to what the proper replacement wheel could be / should be. There has been no rubbing. The project difficulty was on the higher side, but the result was worth it.\r\n\r\n@Ben_Boy the passenger is my 15 1/2 year old son Will; is the Drone Pilot and GoPro operator. He is currently learning to drive stick shift - a lost art for his generation unless we force it to happen. But a future rock bullseye would necessitate replacement and allow improvement. The Alpine CD stereo and speakers are all there, but there is some static / amp interference...? So I have never used it and therefore have not tried to trouble shoot it. Other Ferraris I have owned have had similar issues. If that is important to anyone, perhaps a new Bluetooth version could be installed. \r\n\r\nThe new engine mounts (which are expensive and have become difficult to locate) are likely needed by most 348 if still running their originals. They compress over time and can cause the shift linkage to become mis-aligned. Updating the lift linkage has allowed for nice smooth shift action - including second gear - once the car is fully warmed up. Lastly, I think this models hydraulic steering, mechanical / analogue nature allow for an unmatched fun to drive factor.
