Somewhere along the line the 2L was put in the car. I put the webers on it and was able to find a European style manifold.\r\nThe AC is not finished because I ran out of time and energy! I spent quite a while finding the\r\nUS series stud mounts which fit into the front of the head. This makes the installation of a\r\nmodern compressor much easier and more efficient. I believe you would need hoses and a\r\ndryer to complete the job. The under dash unit is the difficult part of the installation. I believe one of the engine bay photos shows the dual line set up from Vintage Air at the firewall, passenger side. The front corners of the driver and\r\npassenger floor need replacement. I replaced all four sections. The center tunnel had no\r\nrust, as did the front suspension crossbeam. There was slight rust at the bottom of the\r\nrear window....right at the corners. The rear panel was replaced because I like the earlier\r\ntaillight style. The trunk floor was fine and is original except where I cut the original gas\r\ntank in half to house the electric fuel pump , and bottom of the Alfaholics aluminum racing\r\ntank. The side filler door was moulded in. There was no rust on the roof, trunk lid, or hood.\r\nThe inner and outer door sills were in good shape and reused. The center sill was replaced\r\nand modified to be stronger than original, by use of a much heavier gauge material.\r\nThe drivers rear wheel arch lip was replaced, which is a better way to fix this common rust\r\narea, than body filler. \r\nThere is a slight split in the rear tail light panel that should show in one of the photos. It is under the trunk weatherstrip and is smaller than a dime. I just have not gotten around to\r\nfixing it. That can be done very easily for the next owner. I do have extra paint.\r\nI believe I have covered all the body issues.
