Chevy/GMC did too on the Tahoe's and Suburbans in the early 2000's. Our 2004 Tahoe had the exact same soft leather and it tore and the sponge padding broke down. This was most evident on the Driver seat. Although we wanted to repair the seam separation and pad we NEVER felt comfortable with the New England area referrals so we did not risk someone making the result worse. The rest of the car is like new. You also receive the Eddie Bauer NEW luggage, unopened. The prior owner took care of this car. We continued our focus on the mechanical condition. The oil was again changed in Sept. 2022, replaced the turn signal bulb behind the dash ($145) and charged the A/C freon. But the original leather on the driver's seat cushion looks to verify mileage. The tear could happen with age, but the seats haven't been recovered, so that's a good sign. We also called the first, and prior owner to question about the muffler. We left a message and his construction company is now managed by a son. \r\nOne questioner asked for pictures of every scratch. We searched so please look at the very few pictures.\r\nThe bottom gold color trim has not rock chips and neither does the back quarter panels.\r\nWe took pictures of the driver door frame and step. No wear and no scratches.\r\nThe same with the passenger door.\r\nLook at the tail lights, some aging but still very red and not cracked. We purchased new plastic red covers but intentionally did not change them out.\r\nWe checked to make sure the Eddie Bauer overhead fixture works; pictures included showing the additional overhead lamp on, the Temperature was 35 degrees or 2 Celsius and the Compass indicates South.\r\nWe inspected the passenger arm rest, we found nothing wrong. So, if the buyer finds an issue we will pay for the repair. \r\nWe took new pictures of the engine because we had full daylight and no overshadows.\r\nIf any issues it is how beautiful the paint is and the reflection of any and all items across from the car.\r\nThe only place we found odd discolor, even many finite marks is on the passenger front quarter panel at the very top and some area of the curve. We have no idea why or how. But if the prior, and original first owner returns our call and we learn of anything we will immediately enter the information.\r\nWe did inquire at the local Ford Dealer if there would be a possibility that the dealer would have modified the muffler for a new buyer. The answer, it depends on the relationship between the buyer and dealer. We have owned the car since the Spring of 2018 and not oil dripping issues. We own many cars and only the VW (1) will drop some oil. Nothing else. Oh, excuse me our 1959 Flat top red and white 4 door impala leaked trans fluid because we did not take it out and drive it. So we were punished by not just a leak but a flood of red fluid. My write-up covered all the questions I knew buyers would want answered (I\u2019ve been selling personal vehicles for decades and understand what a good writeup needs to include), yet the BaT rep butchered my words, misstated facts and generally submitted info that sounded like someone who didn\u2019t know the first thing about selling a car.
