It was a red 1977 Pontiac Bonneville. They took it for the reserve I requested. I was like, \"ok ok, let's see where this goes. Car did a great number and it created a lot of commentary. I was like WOW, that was fun. So not sure if that was a fluke or not, I tried my next classic, which was a low mile Mark V Cartier. And BOOM another win! \r\n\r\n At that moment I knew I had found a little niche, and I also knew that this was FOR ME!! I then went on the hunt for as many low mile classics as possible. So here we are 150 cars later and I actually sold my old location to move to a much larger facility. \r\n\r\n So after 27 years of MOSTLY dealing with regular cars, I now have the classic car division of Competition Cars. I have always cleaned those tops with a great degree of caution. I notice the power antenna not seating properly, it is sticking up too high, another weak spot on these cars. I would also find a grey brake light for that rear deck from any Mark or town car from 80-89 which would complete the factory appearance of that. Also you can order custom floor mats off ebay that are cut to fit these cars like the factory mats which is especially important in the front. No cupholders, one can find older ones again on ebay that fit over the transmission hump up front. Those dashes are prone to cracking from UV exposure so using armor all and then buffing to reduce shine after allowing product to soak in, you apply by slipping an old sock over your hand, soaking that with the armor all and then working it in-this eliminates over spray and getting it on the windshield.
