The long one one went between the defroster vents and the short one went vertically on the inner corner of the Knick-knack tray in front of the passenger above the glovebox. \n\nFord issued instructions in TSB #5, article 31, Dated March 1973. Since most people don\u2019t have access or are unwilling to pay, the work-around is to retard the timing which kills the performance. \r\n\r\nAn early quench-head 351C like this one is really snappy compared to a dog-slow 1974 motor. He was given the choice of taking the green car, or waiting some unknown amount of time until more of them showed up. I\u2019ve seen two in Europe in that hue, but only one in the USA, which was being repainted in Steve Wilkinson!s shop.
