If it needs a lot of metal work it will be expensive. If you are striping the car down to bare metal and painting it and then putting a new interior in it not to bad. If this car was solid and you took everything apart and sandblasted all of the suspension and other parts replaced worn out parts and had the engine and transmition re-built and then did the cosmetic stuff at $45 an hour, this fits right in line. For less than $5000 you can pull the engine and redo the compartment and refinish the engine and you will have a car that can do $180 plus at the right venue. And you get a free hardtop!
