I have a 2016 3S and it\u2019s true, these cars do live up to the hype. As for registering the car, pretty much everyone, including myself, goes with the Montana LLC. Don\u2019t let this be a barrier for entry into an Atom. It\u2019s super easy, cost effective (no sales tax) and there are several agencies that assist in the setting up. It took me about 2 months until my plates showed up, but after about 40 days, they sent me a temporary tag for the interim period. Personally, anyone into sports cars needs to own an Atom once in their lives. I had a 2015 none-supercharged that was track only driving at Motorsports Ranch, Cresson, TX. There was about 5 Atom owners at the track and most spent $,1000's on wheels/tires, etc just to knock a second off their lap times. Like this one mine had the Skunkwurx carbon fiber wings and that rear wing mounting below the roll cage suffers from the disturbed airflow. I designed, built and installed an active rear wing (DRS) mounted above the cage for $700 and trimmed my lap time by over 3 seconds.
