A Milltek cat back exhaust or similar is essential to let the engine note really sing, and the cabrio allows you to hear the aria in full every time you get near the red line. \r\n\r\nGLWA, @911r. As you said below the 2010 through 2012 Audi S5 had a 355 hp and 350 lb/ft torque six speed manual. The RS4 was essentially the same 4.2 L V8 at 420 hp - aka a 65hp diff; but the S5 had different gearing than the RS4 and is an overall better driving experience. And since I have owned all of these cars, including the RS4 back in 2008, I will tell you that the 2010 through 2012 Audi S5 feels faster and feels like a more complete package with essentially the same engine and a better geared six speed manual.\r\n\r\nThe 2013 through 2015 Audi RS5 Cabriolet (I own it now in my garage) Is a very special beast and has recently gotten some good attention from Doug DeMuro\u2019s car pod podcast as one of the greatest v8\u2019s in history (link below). It is true that it did not come in a six speed manual, but it was the last of Audi\u2019s naturally aspirated high revving V8\u2019s. It was also the last Audi RS cabrio that was ever made as the second generation and now third generation Audi 4 seat convertibles no longer offer an RS convertible.\r\n\r\n I think the comparison of the 2013-2015 Audi RS5 Cabriolet to the RS4 Cabrio is a very fair comparison; especially since it was the very last of the Audi four seat RS cars. Also- the 2013 to 2015 RS5 cabrio uses a 4.2 L V8 that is actually A completely different build and shares very little in common with the Audi S5 v8 and RS4 v8 which were essentially the same engine. The Audi RS5 V8 was actually made in the same production line as the V10 r8. So what they did was basically just takeoff two cylinders from the joint Audi/ Lamborghini V10 to make the one off Audi RS5 from 2013 to 2015 To compete against the high revving 4.0L BMW M3 V8. Making it one of the lowest production V8s that Audi has ever made. But I don\u2019t think the color value is high as its a derivative of a very common Audi gray. That color that typically demands a premium are the super special negaro blues.\r\n\r\nEither way They are all amazing cars and I massively massively miss the six speed manual Audi\u2019s.
