I saw this Jeep in person yesterday and took it for a test ride. While \"toasty\" as described, I am not sure why they need replacing. Adds to the patina of the Jeep and the front floor pans are solid with no flex whatsoever. If someone desires to replace them the replacement parts are readily available but as previously stated it would require a body removal. Also easy and possible to fabricate \"overlays\" and cover up the toasty ones where exposed (except under the frame) if the sight of them bothers you. I had the opportunity to take if for a test drive. Everything works. Shifts well and goes in and out of four wheel drive and Hi Lo range effortlessly. Motor ran good and had 50 PSI oil pressure. Remarkably leak free unless there is no oil in the engine, transmission or differentials! It must have lived in a rust free environment as the body is for the most part rust free. Definitely a Cool Vibe. It is against my best interest to weigh in on this Jeep and I hope the bidding stays low as it is only fifteen miles away. This particular jeep was kept at his cabin/ranch property in Gold Country. When I received the jeep, in cleaning it I found two window stickers, the universal old jeep window NRA decal and an old partial Utah registration sticker. Both were so disintegrated that they flaked/peeled away when I washed the windshield, and were already so far gone I didn't see an aesthetic advantage to putting much work in preserving them. So my knowledge of this jeep's history is limited to \"Utah for some period of time, then Gold Country Sierras on a collector's mountain escape property\" before me. \r\n\r\n@drm101 - This one's pretty peppy too; if you're in LA or familiar with it, I took the beach photos at Dockweiler State Beach, then drove it home to Westchester on Pershing.
