The month is obscured from vision, would need a mirror perhaps to see . A 67 engine would be C440 there would also be an HP stamped on that pad and at the end of each cylinder head. That engine is a standard 440 for a 1968 model year. If you want the check the heads remove a valve cover, 67 HP heads would have a casting number ending in 915 which is the higher compression small chamber and larger exhaust valve diameter. The carb number should be a 4326s or 4327s one for auto other for four speed. The rear shackles were already on the R/T when I traded my '59 Chevy Apache, and while I can't confirm their purpose, I've had no issues with tire rub. Additionally, there are air shocks in the rear with a convenient air valve in the trunk. Maintaining the front end at its stock height, we recently refreshed the shocks and other suspension components during routine maintenance. The screws in the seat backs are intriguing\u2014the seats attach to hooks, and I suspect there might have been handle-type straps for back seat riders in the car's history and the screws were left in. During a restoration some years back, the dash was painted to keep the same, likely a personal choice for a striking contrast with the interior. I find it adds a beautiful touch, though my Mopar experience is limited. Really is an amazing color as you\u2019d probably see in my videos seeing the color change with the sparkle in the paint when the sun hits it at certain angles. The knob below the radio is indeed a manual choke. There's no recent undercoating applied; it seems to have been applied in a previous restoration. Everything underneath looks exceptionally clean and especially the rockers as seen in pics #162-165. While it may not boast a perfect rotisserie restoration, this car is exceptionally solid.
