Hawaiian Orchid with Natural interior was the color combo used on the Allante Indy Pace Car and is very attractive. This car was not born with a hardtop.\r\n\r\nThis car is still wearing the extended air dam lip added for \u201893. The lip is absent on many cars-including some \u201893s previously sold here and on my own car-either for astehtic purposes or because it has been damaged by a curb or steep driveway approach. \r\n\r\nLooksmlike a nice one, bid to win. For those who have not ween my previous Allante auction comments, I daily drive a \u201893 Allante with 132k on the clock. It will turn 33K sometime this summer, so I've driven it some. It's not perfect; I don't think any of them are, but it has no major issues and has always been reliable and fun to drive. One drawback is the dark interior. Here in North Carollina on a clear, sunny summer day with the top down (the only way I deliberately drive it) it quickly becomes uncomfortably warm. That effectively limits enjoyable driving time to early or late in the day, or on mostly cloudy days. It's a Cadillac I've always wanted, and other than its becoming a mobile oven in the heat of the day, I'm very happy with it. I'm watching this closely. V4J introduced the same unit used in the contemporary Eldo and Seville. The second is the AC compressor\u2026the tranny change required some changes to the AC system. The later compressor will not connect to the early manifold hoses. The early compressors are not available. The later manifold hoses are not available. So when the compressor goes on on an early car, youre in a bit of trouble\u2026you must find either a take-off early comprssor or a take-off later manifold set.
