IIRC, Bentley and Rolls still paint this way. Depth is always understated in photos, so you can imagine how much more you'll see in person. The monogrammed doors are interesting.\r\n\r\nThe interior is equally gorgeous, but you kind of knew it would be once you saw the exterior. All this car really needs is a headunit swap to something that is bluetooth capable (save the original, obviously), installed without cutting any wires. \r\n\r\nWith respect to the service costs, if you bought ANY 1996 European luxury car and only drove it a few hundred miles a year, you would still see big maintenance bills. There is a reason that many service items have an X miles or Y years schedule - cars have many parts that simply need to be replaced after time has passed. I think the owner should be congratulated on doing what was needed to keep the car in tip-top shape.\r\n\r\nThe wiring harnesses are likely due to the same issue that all Euro wiring harnesses of the era suffered from - \"eco friendly\" insulation that broke down over time.
