Anyone looking to spend north of $200,000 on one of these, without getting a PPI, from one of the \"experts\" on these cars, especially one that admits to being hit twice, is looking for trouble. My car was originally a \"celebrity owned\" car, had a traceable history, and ended up being purchased by the owner of a Ford dealership, who put on half of the 3,000 miles. I had Rich Brooks (GT-Guy) come and inspect the car, and here's a partial list of what he found: all 4 shocks leaking, power steering pump leaking, A/C compressor leaking, clamshell struts and frunk struts weak, other than that, the car was perfect! This was 6 years ago, now getting parts is not just expensive, but some are no longer in inventory, and the cars are now too old for Ford to have to stock them. Chips in the paint, on a car that's driven, and not wrapped, are patina, not something that necessitates panel replacement, or a \"respray\". You need someone that can properly inspect the car, to determine what damage was done. I agree with the \"need\" for pictures of the damage to back up the claim. The shop that did the repairs, might have them, if previous owners don't. If the repairs are done properly, and the car is sound, the new owner will have many more years of driving pleasure in front of him/her. GL regardless. The more $ this brings, it'll just encourage me to keep putting miles on mine. They can guide you on what to repaint or not, as well as parts needed (if available) and \"resale value\". Great ownership group. My gut and experience says that if your GT has had two accident reports, has 30K+ miles, and you're driving it like you want to... then repainting an area of the front nose to get rid of road rash or other bad paint work from previous accidents - it won't matter to the next buyer *if* the work is done right. ie. Me. I wouldn't care because it's not a garage queen. It would have high miles, multiple owners, a couple accidents and I'd expect a deal - not a perfect GT.\r\n\r\n@vancouverporschefan My comment of \"repaint\" was used loosely. The photos show some bad road rash and possibly bad paint work from accident fixes on the images of the headlights. So I'd fix those problem areas and leave the rest alone to be more specific.
