Of course the 2016 had a few gains that other cars did not (for example while on autopilot you can change lanes with the turn-signal), as well as the micro-suede dash material availability, free supercharging, long warranty etc. This car seems to have those gains. \r\n\r\nSupercharging was new to me then & I learned the etiquette involved & adapted to that quite quickly. Of course the speed was admired, as was the range. I learned conservation (for more miles) and had a ball laying waste to most any ICE cars from top to bottom. \r\n\r\nWhat happened then? Well, my 2016 ended up being the \"go to\" car for me. It was easy, fun to drive, and economical. When I reached for the key fobs (from my selections available) in the morning, I ended up grabbing the Tesla most of the time. So much so that I naturally ordered a Plaid. \r\n\r\nNow a year + into my Plaid ownership I still grab that fob (now on a phone app) 1st. Based on the readings you provide in the images, I am thinking it is around 240-245 at a full charge and there is probably minimal to zero degradation on the battery. In my experience as an owner, these batteries hold up really well if not abused. How does one 'abuse' a battery? Overcharging it (charging to 100% on every charge, note the markings in the green graph in the images provided by the seller, for daily use, a 60% charge is recommended). \n\nAnother way to mess a battery up is to drive it to 'empty'. These batteries were not designed to 'go to zero' and the car will give you very pointed messages as you approach zero.\n\nGiven use of accessories and ambient temperature, I would expect this car to comfortably go 195 miles in mild weather and maybe 175 in cold. Mine charges to 263 at 100% and at around 205 miles, I start making sure I am very close to a supercharger. They remove the pak, diagnose which cell or cells are bad and replace them. It's not often they need to replace the entire pak. The car is obviously beautiful and has low miles. It is what you would expect from any car rarely driven, but don't forget, at the end of next year it will have components that are wildly expensive to replace out of warranty (again, through Tesla). \r\n\r\nThrough Tesla you are looking at $22k for a new battery and $15k for a remanufactured battery (both come with 5yr/80k warranties). These are both drop-in replacements, not repaired packs. Of course, there is no way to determine how much life is left in a pack because it's usually a component within the pack that fails (not a whole pack). There is a plethora of information you can review on the Tesla forums if you want to learn more about why/how these packs fail. \r\n\r\nMy OG Tesla (VIN 00070) had its pack replaced, out of warranty, at 160k miles; however, we're talking a VERY early build (Model S). I'd say most people with pack issues usually/typically have them happen more-so over time than through mileage. There are examples of half million mile Teslas driving around with their original packs and others who had to have them replaced with tens of thousands of miles. At the end of the day, we're talking about a car that has more than 7,100 individual batteries. \r\n\r\nThere are several places that replace/repair packs other than Tesla, of course (Gruber Motors, Electrified Garage, 057 Technology, and ReCell). Some of them repair and some replace.
