Yes the front lip on the car is not the original lip, it is an IPD front lip. The car does comes with the factory \"winglets\" to complete the factory sport kit look. I know how fragile the winglets can be and I got a great deal on the IPD lip so that's why I took off the winglets, in my opinion the car looks great with the IPD lip or the winglets! \r\n\r\nThe car has been tuned by ContrastWorks and is running the proper boost on a stock turbo with the upgrades the car has. With the intercooler and downpipe the stock turbo is able to push more boost without hurting anything. The reason the swap was done is that the clutch went out on the original transmission (at 180k not too bad for a stock clutch!) I had an entire other car that I bought the previous December. (2007 S60R Passion Red with Atacama interior, M66 6-speed). The 07 car just mentioned, I bought the car in December 2018 from California and drove it home. 10 days later i got t-boned by a drunk driver who ran a red light and got hit dead smack in the middle of the car. The car heartbreakingly, but knowingly, was totaled. I knew there was still so much value in the 07 car so I bought it back from the insurance so it wouldn't be sent to the crusher. The car came home and was garaged. It drove just fine! I would drive it around the neighborhood every now and then to keep the fluids running though it because I knew eventually I would swap the motor and transmission into another S60R. I then bought the car that is being sold. \r\n\r\nSo when the clutch went out on the car being sold I got a quote for the clutch job, and a quote for the engine swap and it was very close to the same. So i thought, why not put the lower mileage engine and transmission into the car since it does have so much lower mileage. While the engine was out I thought, lets just replace the transmission components of the transmission that has 85k on it (even though it all worked beautifully and fine) so that it will all be brand new and it won't have to be replaced in a long time. So the new transmission components were put in. Again while the motor was out i thought, why not get the block shimmed and a new head gasket and head bolts, since I wanted to do that eventually anyways. So they were also done. If people are interested I can show the original listing of the 07 car as well as photos of the crash, and a few of the maintenance records. The 07 car was stock and very well taken care of, always taken to the dealership or an independent Volvo Master Tech. In the folder the left side pocket at the back is some of the maintenance records that go with the current engine in this car. The timing belt was also done on this motor at 78k, so about 16k miles ago. The interior is also out of the same 07 car as the leather was in much better condition only having 85k on it. To add major power, you need more fuel and more air. Yes, you can easily add more fuel to the equation with larger injectors. But to get more air to match to that fuel you need more turbo. To get above 340whp on these cars, you\u2019d have to switch turbos. The stock K24 turbo can only go so much before running out of steam. At that point, you\u2019d have to consider taking your k24 and converting it to a hybrid k24 (which is what I have on my p80) by machining the compressor housing and installing a larger billet wheel and then you\u2019re looking at maybe 340-375whp if everything else is perfect. There\u2019s a video on YouTube with an S60R getting dyno\u2019d with the same contrast tune, full exhaust, intake, and an intercooler and it made 262whp. Granted, these cars are not the same but that tells you something. \r\n\r\nAlso, anything near these power levels, you\u2019re treading on thin ice. The motors in these cars are notorious for failing once they get pushed into those power levels. The larger cylinder bores (83mm) in these 2.5L \u201cR\u201d blocks compared to the smaller bores (81mm), for example in the 2.3L blocks, means the cylinder walls are thinner and tend to crack, hence why so many people choose to \u201cshim\u201d them although shimming doesn\u2019t help sometimes. How do I know all this? Because I had to replace the motor on my late S60R after the previous owner blew the original one. A simple google search on the \u201cR\u201d motor B5254T4 will tell you this. \r\n\r\nDon\u2019t get me wrong, this appears to be a nice R and I wish the seller good luck and the same too for the buyer, but I just needed to respond to those comments. Maybe the power numbers being discussed were meant to be at the crank and not at the wheel. Then, that would make sense. On the other hand, if power and mods are kept minimal like on this example, then everything should be fine.
