This car has the (driver's) seat memory function, heated front seats, and the automatic climate control is the same as the E32 7 series. The most common failure of those is the fan speed control \"sword\", so called because is has a long aluminum blade heat sink where the power transistors are mounted that vary the voltage for the continuously variable speed control. They can be rebuilt if they fail, but a buried under the dash and require a bit of pretzelling of your body to get to. Lots of guidance on the internet on how to find, remove and repair the \"sword\". \n\nTo be clear, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this car (which also came from the factory with R-134a refrigerant), just that they sometimes fail on the E32. I would love to have this car if I had garage space. I was trying to get the cosmoline (sp?) off the engine and caused some kind of misfire during the drive after wards which started the fire. I had done so much work to that car prior to that. It was difficult to see the fire destroy part of the car and the firemen break the glass and destroy the inside of the car. One of the last thing I had done was to replace the door skins to get rid of the panel detachment that happens to these cars. It was a very cool car with custom license plate EuroM5.
