Yes, three speeds are available if you choose the Low range setting, but when Dr is selected, unless I am mistaken, these transmissions start in 2nd gear and shift to 3rd. So, is it a 3 speed or a 2 speed? It is such a beautiful car, whoever ends up buying it will be able to show it or drive it. He sold in 1981 to an A.A Lari of Glen Cove, NY (3rd owner). The green sticker in the door jamb was put on during this tenure. \n\nIt sold to the gentleman via an auction that I purchased it from in 1988 as a scruffy and rust free original with original wood, paint and interior. In the later 1990's, he restored the wood and did a complete disassembled paint of the car. He ordered the correct interior from LeBaron Bonney as well as a correct wiring harness from Rhode Island Wiring and had all professionally installed. \n\nHe corrected anything on the car that wasn't accurate to original and then in 2001, brought it to be judged for Dearborn where it scored 992 points out of 1000 and got the award.\n\nThe car is still in show condition, probably one of the best examples in existence today. There are slide films with the car from approximately 1981 and the car was used in a NY Times advertisement for Tommy Hilfiger at least once on October 15th, 1981. \n\nAll materials are included in the sale.
