Front fenders are for 1973 & up evident by the fact they have the two front bumper support mounting points above the center of the wheels on the inner brace used by the 73+ cars, 3rd, underside of car should be red oxide primer not black as it was a Norwood car but being delivered originally in New York and based on the rust pitting on the underside of the hood bracing I would bet the black is hiding a multitude of sins. The early wheels had a 1\" smaller diameter spider section, with the extra inch being made up in the outer hoop.\n\nFor what it's worth, this car DOES appear to have a correct '70-'72 wheel as its spare in the trunk. Bottom line is 1970 cars had flat lipped fenders. Same on my 70 GTO and 70 442 and just about and other 70 GM Muscle car I have seen / owned.\r\n\r\n- Ram Air Carb 7040273 for ALL WS ( 4 speed) GTO's , Trans Am Motors is a common miss on these cars. While Holley was marketing to us gear heads, who know were were pitching a 750 CFM Quadrejet to try and go faster and buying a 600CFM Model #1850. This is the same 7040273 carb used on the 69 and 70 Ram Air III's and Ram Air IV's as well. Blessed to own a few of them. The carb on the car is going for about $1,000 and if you want to pay e-bay prices there is about a $3,500 gap.
