We have found that the indoor light is quite a lot better at showing actual condition. I think there is an idea that somehow the indoor shots hide flaws when it is really quite the opposite. The indoor lights will show a fly\u2019s eyelash left on a car and we spend quite a bit of time on every car making sure that they are prime time ready. The light is more consistent and because it's controllable, it allows for pictures unaffected by clouds, time of day, angle, background and more. Outdoor shots have their place for sure and with certain paints can show off the flip/flop of pearls and highlight some colors more, but with the sun creating shadows and highlights, creates incredibly inconsistent shots that often times hides condition or hyper exaggerates it. We like both and we generally show both, but I definitely like sharing the experience of us having photographed thousands and thousands of cars that the studio makes for a more truthful environment for condition in most scenarios.\r\n\r\nDo you Photoshop your Pictures? \r\nWe do not retouch any flaws on cars in post-edit or photoshop nor add filters. For anyone planning to keep the car in CA, it's as easy as any other purchase, and the SPCNS registration makes the car exempt from smog checks for its lifetime. It's quite a pain to go through the SB100 process, and BAR procedure could change in the future, so having it already registered is a big benefit. Other Mono's, say those that are Montana registered, would not be eligible for CA registration as the SB100 process requires the car to be shown as being built for the first time for said registration. McLaren/Lamborghini Newport Beach). The car is in every way a race car, but has service needs like a Honda. No need for engine/transmission overhaul or changing uprights on your suspension. And if you throw some slicks on it you can put 20+ consecutive hot laps on track at 9/10ths with the car completely comfortable at steady state - not a single warning light about coolant/oil temp being too high or the like. If you don't track it, and assuming you drive no more than 2 - 3k miles per year, all you need is a yearly oil change and multi-point inspection which comes out to ~ $1400 at RDS. Tires and pads last YEARS even with routine track use.
