The MG TD Mark II had a certain raised teardrop 'bubble' on the front cowling, which my car does (visible in the pictures) I was told this was to accommodate some type of modification for the Mark II engine. As to originality, the serial numbers on the body AND engine match, and are supposed to be ones that are listed by MG for this year and make and model, etc. Again, I don't claim to be an MG expert, as this is the only one I have owned. I bought it for its looks and style, and have never been disappointed. I believe I have the side curtains and frames, yes. I will check. As to dual fuel pumps, I don't really know what you mean except to say I DON'T think I have any other things for the engine. BDABob, let me know where to take a picture, and I will. The fuel pump is mounted on the engine wall, passenger side. Andrex shocks? Tell me what you would like a photo of, and I will try to comply. Five years ago, when the wire wheels were installed (purchased from Moss Motors) I assume the shocks were the same, but don't know. I will take pictures if you tell me what to take. I know the conversion to wire wheels was far more difficult than I first imagined, but the end result, I think, was really REALLY worth it. There is also a special switch that deactivates the fuel pump, located inside the locking glovebox. Original ignition key (used in conjunction with the starter button. No spares, as these tires are almost new. The old stamped-steel wheels were kept by the British-car garage when I transitioned to these spoked wheels.
