Someone loved this LTD. The brocade, while sappy for our era, was pretty high quality. The painted roof was fairly unusual, as vinyl ruled at that time and it probably saved it from rust. Original painted wheels were generally for the Galaxy 500, with original hubcaps no less. The doors were heavy, not for the handicapped. This was probably the last year for the fan driven rear window defroster; made a lot of noise but didn't clear the window. The Philco radio is probably a Motorola unit, very high quality. The air conditioner, when new, could freeze beef. Bumper over riders were like a $14 option, but no power windows. Wow. Recharge the AC, new spark plugs and shocks and somebody will get a wonderful cruiser. They broke the news that they had just backing the LTD into the door of my 1965 Corvair Corsa Turbo! I quickly hung up the phone, ran outside to see a huge dent in the driver's side door that was a perfect molded dent of the profile of rear 5MPH safety bumper!
