You have to remove the wheel to replace, they made a SS platform and behind the battery towards the firewall is all the wiring for the starter, etc. There is a waterproof 12v battery charging connector line that can be pulled down when being stored. There is also a hidden kill switch, so you never have to take the key out. \r\nLukenallen - this car has the coldest a/c I've ever witnessed as an adult. The tech told me it was reading 22 degrees F at the vent when the lines were replaced. It's old-school ice cream headache cold. That said, I did have to get it recharged with R12 once because the installer didn't put the crush washers in. So a/c is sorted and beat my expectations. \r\nDaniel_jones & pbf777 - you are both correct, sorry for the Edelbrock label in the description, but this is the very rare set-up you two are talking about. The Carbs are all mechanically linked, so no vacuum required for opening. The linkage is slotted for the outer 2 carbs, so you drive around on the middle carb all day unless you punch it. As a result, you can actually get excellent gas mileage (super fun, makes passing on the freeway easy). \r\nBallparkfrank - I haven't had a single over heating issue. You don't see it in the photos, but Bob (original owner) took great effort to move/shield the overflow and recovery tanks. When I get the chance, I'll plot the results against a similar 351C build. Also, the note on 42 degrees total timing is unusual. We typically see best performance at 34 to 36 degrees for a 351C with closed chamber heads, less as the displacement increases. Also, it shows the same jetting in the center as in the ends. I'm sure it's fun to drive as is but there's a fair bit of power to be had with a camshaft upgrade that will get it to peak closer to 6000 RPM and it will still remain docile to drive at part throttle. It would be interesting to see what it does on a chassis dyno. It would take a very special Windsor to make those numbers. I have had a couple Windsor strokers (393 & 420ci), but in my opinion they seemed more high strung and had more valvetrain noise. The oiling pattern in the Cleveland along with a more stout rotating assembly seems to make power effortlessly. The cam in this motor is like one step from stock, so obviously this build had certain drive-ability in mind. That said, this car could actually be a daily driver in my mind. As far as I know it's regular R 12 in that car.\" I mentioned earlier I had to go back once for a recharge due to missing crush washers, but that was months ago, so this latest test shows the system is holding the R12 perfectly now. The difference in temp noted was what I was finding as well. Basically, the vent surface will read in the 40's, but take a reading past the vent into the conduit and it shows around low 20's. I actually got a reading in the teens, but I couldn't seem to find the same spot when it came time to record. My wife and I did a weekend in Santa Barbara in the summer, and the A/C worked perfectly on the 3-4 hour drive one way. That includes crawling bumper to bumper on the 405 fwy (locals will know what this means). For freeway driving when you are do do 90 (just where she likes to move on the fwy), we end up turning it down to minimum and the vents pointed away because it gets so cold. So, I've never experienced any freezing or waning performance. It would be easy to change to whatever (SS, different diameter, etc), but they were nicely bent pieces without restrictions at the bends, so I haven't thought much of it. This motor's forged Crower internals could handle double the horsepower this build makes. The cam and springs this build has was meant to accomplish a certain HP range and drive ability. It is very quick nonetheless. But the sky is the limit with how fast you'd like to make this car. The ZF trans and Cleveland block are both good for 1000hp.
