I finally installed a 4 way relay (2 relays/window). One relay for UP, one reply for Down. This now sends 12 V to the PW motors. GM had the 12 V going directly to the switch , then to the motors. I smoked at least 4 switches- at least the car never caught fire. It was pretty complicated, and it would take 20 sec+ to roll the windows up.
