Welcome the auction of my original survivor 1982 Suburban K20 4x4.\nThis rig was purchased new by an older guy at George Irvin Chevrolet in Glendale, Colorado -they got it in a dealer trade with Joslen Chevrolet in Pagosa Springs. He used it mainly as a cabin truck at his second home near Idaho Springs. It didn't accrue many miles, and only had 19k miles in 1995 when the original owner passed away. It then went to his best friend, who I purchased it from. The Suburban came with him to Montana when he retired here in 1998. He mainly kept it for sentimental reasons, and used it as a dedicated hunting and fishing vehicle for outings with his buddies. I purchased it from him in it\u2019s current condition. Paint is mostly original, interior is original, and drivetrain is original. I think the only deviation from OEM is the exhaust I had done. The original \"school bus\" exhaust is included if desired. The Carfax and the overall condition back up the 2nd owner\u2019s assertion that the 59k miles are indeed original. It\u2019s a great running and driving truck, these 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburbans have a unique stance and a world-beater feel when driving one. He capitulated and removed them, and installed the standard mirrors shown. The window sticker calls out the standard axle ratio for the Z82 HD Trailering Special package, which I believe was 3.73 - I'll try to confirm if I can find any axle tag tomorrow.
