Welcome to the auction of this beautiful and quirky SAAB 9000 :) I love SAABs and I also own a low miles 1988 SAAB 900 SiS.\r\nI had this 9000 for almost two years and babied her just as much as my all other cars that I own. I thought I am going to keep her for a long time so I invested money in a high quality re-paint. I took her to a familiar to me and a great body shop in Braselton, GA called Zintar's collision. They did a fantastic job once again for me on this SAAB 9000. They never rush and do the process 100% correctly. All the trim pieces were stripped and repainted in original color, and they even replaced the chrome strips that insert into the bumpers.\r\nMechanically, this car is in very good shape. I used a trusted local SAAB shop in Woodstock, GA called M&M SAAB to do maintenance on the items beyond my level of expertise, and I kept easy stuff such as oil changes or vacuum line replacement, and valve cover gasket job for my own enjoyment. The only thing I would mention that's not working 100% of the time is the hazard light switch. It's intermittent and works whenever it decides to. Quirky SAAB stuff.\r\nAdditionally, I did headlight wiper motor delete to achieve a cleaner front look, but I saved the parts in case new owner wants to bring the car to its original specs. Also, I bought a set of 9000 Aero Anniversary wheels that look much better than stock wheels to me. I slapped the original wheels to my 1989 SAAB 900 that I sold couple of years ago, so I no longer have the original wheels. Description mentioned that aftermarket exhaust was installed, but I bought and installed STARLA exhaust system from fcpeuro and I believe this is an OEM part. Corrosion is mentioned too, but I can assure this is just a surface corrosion on the axle beam and nowhere else on the underside. Vibration went away when I swapped the wheels to 9000 Aero Anniversary ones (in one of the pre-paint pics you requested you can see a corner of the donor car I bought shortly after, just because of those beautiful wheels, but ended up using more parts from it to make my 9000 perfect, of course). I found some pictures that I sent to the body shop to get rough estimate, and they are attached here. Basically, this long scratch that you see pictured was that what prompted a whole car repaint decision... Emblems were removed and sent to Green Emblems INC in Covington, GA to resurface them with adhesive agent so they can be slapped back on the body once repaint was done. Adding the receipt of the paint job as well. I emailed it to my auction specialist but I guess it was not added to the gallery. And I am selling it because I have many other cars and I cannot drive them all. If the car sat for a few weeks, I see single digit startup voltage values (I honestly do not remember how low of a value I saw, I haven't started my car in 2 months). And the voltage will jump to ~14V after the start while the depleted battery is charging back up, and will settle at around 13.7 after battery has charged up to normal levels. At least that's my explanation of what I am seeing on the display :) If I drive the car again the same day, the startup voltage can be 2-3 volts higher.\r\nThe consensus in saabnet is that a low startup voltage value does not necessarily mean a problem, but if you see lower and lower values that is likely a sign of a battery going weak.\r\nI cannot comment on the condition of the battery in this auction car just by looking at the 7.4V startup voltage value.
