Here is a little history of the car:\r\n\r\nThe GSX was purchased new by a relative in later 1994 from Dennis Mitsubishi in Columbus Ohio. The title was changed to reflect a TOD designation to the estate administrator in 1999 which is reflected in the Car Fax, with the title still remaining in the name of the original owner. The vehicle was transferred to me in late 2020 by the estate administrator after our relative\u2019s passing in late 2020. \r\n\r\nThe GSX has been garaged since new. It was driven on weekends mainly from new through sometime in 1999 when it was parked inside a garage. Registration was kept current until 2004. It remained un-driven until after being towed out of the garage after our relative\u2019s passing. \r\n\r\nThe estate administrator had a new battery installed, the fuel system purged and replaced the fuel filter. I do not have those receipts. \r\n\r\nService during my ownership. \r\n\r\nFlushed the cooling, clutch and brake systems. \r\nCleaned fuel injectors and replaced O rings \r\nReplaced Coil paks, ignition wires, plugs, air filter, vacuum lines, front rotors-pads (warped), and horns. \r\nThe AC was serviced several times with the condenser ultimately being replaced. \r\nA front wheel was repaired due to a slight flat spot. All wheels were touched up for blemishes. \r\nPaint detailed and waxed. \r\nInterior detailed (still smells new). \r\nContinental Extreme Contact tires replaced the original equipment Bridgestone Protenza tires which at least one had flat spots. The Protenzas are noted in the gallery to reflect the original low miles (5k) and are available to the new owner. They will fit in the GSX for shipping. \r\n\r\nI should be available for questions and if appropriate in person inspections this week. Great question. The short answer is not while in my possession and highly doubtful prior to storage. We popped the timing belt cover and indexed the belt for inspection. It was not worn or cracked similar to the two accessory belts. \r\n\r\nI took the GSX into our local Mitsubishi dealership in regards to the noted recall for lower ball joints. Several of their older mechanics came out to look at it. All visually thought the belts and other mechanicals were fine even at their age.\r\n\r\nWe learned that Mitsubishi is no longer servicing the recall due to non availability of factory parts or reimbursing for outside parts and labor. The mechanics said not to worry about replacement for quite awhile due to the mileage. \r\n\r\nI hope this answers your question.
