The RB26DETT in this car is a race-bred engine that is a simple tune and some basic modifications away from 500+ HP - and not tiny powerband 4-banger 500 HP either - a full 5000+ RPMs of torque and power. Very little can run time attack laps faster than an R34 GT-R. They are monsters. Watch the video in my below comment and you'll understand. \n\nTo put the Godzilla thing in perspective, it helps to remember that that was the moniker attached to this car's older sibling, the R32, which was racing against E30 M3s at the time it came out. Yes, E30s with archaic trailing arm suspension, and a naturally aspirated 4-pot. This came storming onto the scene with AWD, advanced suspension design, twin turbochargers and 2.6L of displacement.
