In short sprints, the 440+6 had the advantage. A Stage 1 Buick was well matched to the Hemi in stock form. It would really come down to two things: (1) traction; (2) driver. The Buick was a low revving beast with enough torque to rotate the earth. But, massive low end torque is typically detrimental on tires that were nowhere up to snuff for containing it. Also, Buicks were generally heavier than MOPARs as they were luxury cars. Put both cars on slicks, tuned properly and on a prepped track and you would have a better indication of what they could do. \n\nEither way, as much as I like the Buick and 440+6 cars, there is no way I am taking either over a Hemi Cuda. \n\nThis is the King of MOPARs and sits on the Mt.
