Regarding the tear, I confirmed with the local trim shop that the tear could be repaired to avoid expansion. However, any such repair would be noticeable and inconsistent with the level of restoration so I have secured a rare, new, original material factory headliner specifically for a 1972 1800ES which will be included with the sale.
