Porsche would also factory install an antenna and/or speakers without a radio so dealers could install a radio of the buyer's choice (presumably from their parts bin).\n\nBlaupunkt Frankfurt radios seem to have been by far the most popular.\n\nThis car's CofA indicates it came without a radio, speakers, or antenna which actually seems a bit odd for a high-end Super Cabriolet. Maybe something was missing from the Kardex... It could happen.\n\nAt any rate, it wouldn't be unusual for an owner to decide to have a radio installed. If the first owner had had the radio installed when he picked up the car it would most likely have been a \"T-code\" Blaupunkt with a green face.\n\nThis car appears to have:\n- Correct \"tulip\" radio knobs\n- Correct speakers\n- Correct speaker cloth (I think) which is rare\n- Correct Bosch \"blue tip\" antenna (hard to tell)\n- US Band Blaupunkt Frankfurt (it gets the whole FM band) \n\nOne could argue either that it's period correct because the owner could have come back a little later after the white dial radios arrived or that it's not correct because of the white dial.\n\nAt any rate, it's a pretty small nit to pick.\n\nJanis Joplin's 356SC had a Blaupunkt Frankfurt with generic knobs.
