This listing represents EVERYTHING about what I love about what I do for a living. I like selling the best cars, and in my opinion this has to be the nicest first generation RX I have seen and driven in the past 20 plus years. The story of the car is equally as impressive as its condition mechanically and cosmetically. The vehicle was purchased new at Prestige Lexus in 2001 and it was serviced by that selling dealership from new. The car was purchased from the original owners in 2023 by one of the service technicians who serviced the car from new. He purchased the car for his 88 year old father, and I purchased the car from him this year as his father was no longer able to drive the vehicle. Conditionwise, I honestly feel that this may be one of the nicest and cleanest low mileage examples in the world. Mechanically everything is in proper working order, and I personally drove this car about 150 miles and it drives tight like a well maintained Lexus should. The timing belt was done in 2017 at 42k miles and new Firestone tires were mounted in 2023. All fluids and filters are fresh.\r\n\r\nCosmetically this RX300 is wearing all original paint, and it was just detailed to a show quality with a two step paint correction and ceramic coating. \r\n\r\nThe interior\u2026\r\n\r\nThe interior is breathtaking !!! I honestly believe that the back seats were never sat in, and the rear hatch area is immaculate. The carpeting is amazingly clean and even the original Lexus floor mats look like they did in 2001. The front mats were covered with plastic all weather mats when I purchased the vehicle. \r\n\r\nI have always been a fan of the first generation RX at this was my SUV of choice when these were new. Unfortunately, for me my wife was a fan of the BMW X5 and we have owned a few since then. Something tells me that if I purchased a RX300 back in the day, it would still be in my garage.
