I will try to answer all your questions and requests in a timely manner. \r\n1st, the turn signals: In order to be fixed required a new Manette (this is the center section containing all the wiring etc that is in the center of the steering wheel) I finally obtained a rebuilt one online and had it installed by my son, but not correctly wired. While this is a simple procedure, I am physically unable to crawl around under the car to do it and my son doesn't want to (go figure).\r\n\r\nRegarding the electric fan: There are space limitations that surely influenced the previous owner when he installed the fan (wouldn't fit in the normal fan position) It works just fine where it is and does a great job of cooling.\r\nI will post photos of the engine and head numbers as well as others requested asap.\r\nThe overdrive transmission was installed by the previous owner, it works just great!\r\n\r\nThe disc brakes were also installed by the previous owner and also work flawlessly. \r\n\r\nAEA, Thanks for the compliment, I'd say honk the next time you see me but everyone already does that, so I wouldn't know it was you. ;)\r\n\r\nThanks for all the questions, the car truly is magnificent. In 137 the painter has applied a black basecoat (see the over spray on the masking). Now look at 138 and check out the masking, there is just the hint of blue. What I think the painter has done here is while the black is still wet, he has \"misted\" a coat of blue onto the black and followed this with the clearcoats. I believe this process is why the color can at times and in certain lighting appear black and later on blue. Where it was purchased by an unknown buyer.\n\u2022\t1958-59: The car was found by a US Airman in Casablanca in a salvage yard without an engine, he purchased it and installed a Ford V8 and automatic transmission.\n\u2022\t1965: Car was shipped by the Airman to his home in North Carolina.\n\u2022\t1974: Car was taken off the road by the airman and parked in a barn. \n\u2022\t19?? Sometime after 1974 the Airman passed away and the car\u2019s ownership passed to his widow. \n\u2022\tSometime after the death of the airman, A Mr. Stuhall, purchased the car from the estate, with the intention of restoring it.\n\u2022\t2011: Mike Greene A friend of Mr. Stuhall purchased the car and subsequently, with the assistance of Kanupp\u2019s Vintage Motorworks refurbished the car. \n\u2022\t2012: A 3.4-liter inline-six and 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive was sourced from a donor XK150s. This engine was completely rebuilt including The upper end valve job with new valves and springs, keepers, guides, etc. decked , new timing gears and chain and tensioner all seals. new head bolts. bottom end bored 20 over , new bearings ,pistons, rings, upgraded rear seal. Just a complete rebuild. Additional upgrades included front disc brakes, a TIG-welded radiator, and an electric cooling fan). \n\u2022\t2015 work was completed. Approx 10,000 miles added since.\n\u2022\t2018: Owner (Mike ?) damaged the left front fender. The car was placed in the care of Kanupp\u2019s Vintage Motorworks for repairs and the car was completely reworked and entirely repainted.\n\u2022\t2019: January the paint and body work was completed and the car was back on the road.\n\u2022\t2019: August the car was put up for auction and purchased by Rod Letcher in Eugene Oregon.
