I'd wager something like this will not be made again; a proper four-door sedan with a high-revving, naturally-aspirated V8, paired with Quattro and a six-speed manual. The B7 S4's represent the end of an era, and this particular Ibis White example is setup really nicely. @mesatter1 and @LarsenEJ, as you both pointed out, this car is so much fun, especially with the mods in place. I've driven this example about 60 miles around our twisty NH roads, and it's a real hoot running out third gear. That Milltek system provides an outstanding soundtrack to the whole experience. With this example having just under 54k miles, there has not yet been a need to replace the timing chain, tensioners, or guides. The current and previous owner both had this car serviced by Erik's Import Autoworks, who are an Audi/VW/Porsche specialist shop local to us in southern NH. They have taken care of this car since 2014, and they have not flagged the chains, tensioners, or guides as requiring replacement. But, I've made many, many a purchases via Private-sales across the USA. That process & approach takes an enormous amount of research & home-work. But, I love that challenge. And I love flying out & driving home ! ROADTRIP anyone !? Oh yeah, I also LOVE TO DRIVE ! Lol ! That doesn't mean I wont buy an automobile off of BAT, because I'm actually looking for 2- Audi's & another '97 F-350 7/3L, and a 280Z, all from a dry-state though. NOT FROM NEW-ENGLAND ! Or any states even close to New-England. Ha ! Ha ! Again, unless proof can be had of being stored every winter, I steer-clear. Even after ONE (1) Winter where our roads are treated w/salt & brine that saturates the snow into a salt & brine saturated slush like slurry that then becomes these huge salt & brine saturated wet-roads w/giant salt-ponds (Huge-puddles) & gets splashed all up underneath every car on these roads & gets into every single crack & crevice of every car on these roads ! SO HORRIBLE that its even allowed today ! Then this salt destroys our paved roads ! As a result (Possibly even after 1-Winter) these New-England automobiles are destined for major rust & rot issues ! And its always the same of nightmare story. The exterior of the car looks MINT. But after a couple years, suddenly the salt saturation raises its ugly head & spots of rust starts to \"surface\" and bubble the paint ! That my BAT friends, is just the tip of the old iceberg ! I've been a Certified ASE Master-Tech since 1990 (Yup, that's how old I'm, and that's how long I've been loving the Automobile) and been honing my Craft ever since. So, when this kind Seller said the undercarriage shows proof of no rust issues, that's truly a powerful statement ! It may be accurate for the surface. We all know that if a vehicle has seen & been driven in snow covered roads in New-England, I promise you its also been exposed to salt/brine. And if the vehicle is not significantly & heavily power-washed UNDERNEATH, AND INBETWEEN ALL PANEL UNIONS, UP OVER INNER-FENDERS, MOLDINGS, ETC... right after being driven in salt/brine treated roads religiously, that salt & brine has & will seep into ALL those hidden & tight areas & spaces that are so difficult to access w/hose water, let alone to wash it all out, that the corrosion-process has begun ! So, can the Seller assure us that this otherwise nice \"looking\" 2008 Audi S4 (That's been living in New-England for 17-Winters) is salt & brine free, therefore is salt-induced rust-free !?
