Regardless of mileage, age is arguably more important in belt changes. 8 years is too long to risk it. The consensus is 3 years to be safe, though some argue for longer. If you can do the work yourself, it's extremely cheap insurance compared to the alternative. While you're at it, the balance shaft belt and water pump should be addressed as well.\r\n\r\nBecause of the relatively low power, a limited slip is not important for the NA cars unless you're tracking the car regularly. Even then, most would argue that you still don't need it. \r\n\r\nThis is a cheap performance car that has a wonderful character that you can't find in any other car in the price range. This one needs some love but is worth saving and enjoying as is. LS swaps should never be done on a cheap budget, and an early NA car is not a good platform to start from. The window motor is newer and the regulator has been rebuilt as have all the window switches. Also, the passenger window will always go up, just not down.
