The odometer in the cluster is out of another car.\r\n-I have put about 200 miles of test and tune on the drivetrain in this car since I finished it.\r\n-The 360 engine was a low miles engine that I disassembled and visually inspected and reassembled with new gaskets. No ridge and great crosshatching in the cylinder walls. The internals are stock and it runs great. \r\nThe rear end is an 8 3/4 A Body unit with new Dr Diff large bolt pattern axels and green bearings and a 2.93:1 gear set. And NO A/C.\u201d he demanded. \u201cIf the A/C craps-out in the sanctuary and we don\u2019t have the money to fix it, we may as well ALL be hot.\u201d\r\n\r\nThe motion passed 4 to 3 and the meeting was adjourned.\r\n\r\nBrother Brody made his way down to Dry Creek Chrysler-Dodge the next morning before anyone could change their vote. He told the salesman, Lou Siffer (a cousin by marriage) that he needed to see what they had in the way of a compact Dodge with no A/C. \u201cThey want me to save the masses from Hell, but they don\u2019t mind me riding around in it.\u201d\r\n\r\nLou winked and said \u201cWait here.\u201d Minutes later he pulled up in front with a Hemi Orange Dodge Demon with an interior as black as an unbeliever\u2019s heart. The thing looked like it belonged in Hades, not Fort Stockton.\r\n\r\n\u201cYou\u2019re kidding, right?\u201d Brother Brody bellowed.\r\n\r\n\u201cMeets every requirement. And it\u2019s got a 360 cubic inch engine that\u2019ll pass anything, including judgement.\u201d\r\n\r\n\u201cA Demon? You devil! I\u2019ll take it.\u201d\r\n\r\nAnd that is how Brother Brody get a new Dodge Demon paid for by the Second Baptist Church. In the pics you can see that the underside of the tire well was body worked. I installed a rebuilt steering box. As far as other small issues go, I think It was mentioned that the trunk seal leaks a little. The seals are almost all new but even though they are they never seem to fit as well as the originals and I would say that is also true of the side glass seals. You can see that the cluster face over the odometer is hazy. I was hoping to find a better one but have not yet.
