Still not sure what the reasoning back in 2014 was to make it a special construction title, but this car came from California and was previously titled and registered there as a 1968 VW and still has the 1968 VW chassis VIN so I would think with a little upfront legwork and a state inspection that the '68 VW title and registration could be re-instated on this Manx.
