I love driving my 612 hard! But, it's a great GT car, I recently took it for a 650+ mile road trip, although fun and quite comfortable the addition of Cruise Control would have made it just that much more enjoyable! Another thing is what appears to be heated front seats! A bonus option indeed! One other item is what appears to be the Factory Sport Exhaust! Which I assume is part of an HGT package option offered by the factory which is a HUGE Up Sell for the 612 and, if so equipped!!! The music the HGT exhaust makes is absolutely brilliant making the 612 IMHO one of the best sounding V12 Ferrari's out there! I have some sound clips of my 612 with HGT exhaust on my IG @DryL8k for anyone interested in hearing the HGT exhaust. Also worth noting that the sound levels inside the 612 are very civil (quiet), matter of fact it is the ONLY Ferrari I have even driven that I catch myself using the radio!!!! Headliners are flat and the rear section of the headliner the alcantera is completely separated. However having sold many Ferraris the normal tell tale signs of wrinkling, bubbling, and pulling are not obvious in these photos, making me think the dash is in good shape. \r\n\r\nI do agree that the leather strip along the back of the headliner has fallen away from the roof, however the headliner its self seems to be ok. They are a bit plush by design in the 612, not flat, so it seems fine. Plus when the seller pressed on the headliner the foam didn't indent. If it did it would be an indication the foam is deteriorating. \r\n\r\nYears of experience has taught me not to replace things that are still in good condition, so unless the dash is starting to shrink from the windshield there is no need to replace it. same goes for the headliners and pillars. I had my headliner re stuck, replaced the dash with black leather and red stitching and also replaced the steering wheel cover with tan leather and red stitching and a nice red centering line. A real nice custom job and all in it was about $6K. Colleen, you may recall my red 612, you saw it when I was looking at the C2 you had for sale. I assume you have good leather people, but if you need it I used Randy Tippets leather guy at RMI.
