Earlier this year, I was fortunate to have a reputable restoration shop in Southeast Michigan begin work on it\u2014just as my life plans changed. With our upcoming move back to Italy, managing the project from abroad has become too challenging, so I've decided to pass it on to someone else.\r\n\r\nThe shop that started the restoration will be happy to assist the new owner in continuing the project. While I never did a complete inventory of the parts, I believe it\u2019s a mostly complete project, featuring the matching-numbers OSCA engine, all trims, interiors, etc. It also includes a parts car, which has been stored outside for a few years. Current (at the time ) Euro sports cars were the decorations. Alfa 101, Fiat 1500 convertible , MB Gullwing, Austin Healey and Jag 150 were featured cars. . Whenever a girlfriend asks \"where did the car fascination come from and start?\" all I have to do is point the the blanket hanging from a pole in the upstairs den. \n\nAnything OSCA gets my attention and when completed, respect. I've been up close to several pure OSCAs and they are indeed special. The Fiat OSCA is the more practical way to experience a bit of inspired 1950/60s Italian motorsport flair. Pure OSCA cars in the condition of this car would be very very difficult to accurately restore as production numbers were small, therefore the Fiat chassis makes for an easier supply of parts. The parts car included here makes this a viable project. And if you look at all SGR 29 plates, you will not find a version with a disc-drum combo. And I have documented that chassis 008319 had drums front and rear, and four-wheel discs by chassis 008348.
